O-Boat have wheelchair accessible boats for hire. The boats are licensed to carry up to 12 passengers and are like have a "lounge room on water". They are a great idea for a spot of fishing or exploring the scenic Noosa River. You can take the boats down to Noosa Heads or up as far as Lake Cootharaba (a special license is required to go past this point). The return trip to Lake Cootharaba takes 3 hours.
Accessibility
Ramp access into the boat is via a floating pontoon that adjusts its height acording to the tide. The boat deck is flat with a side enclosure and no steps. It is designed with a twin hull (suspended by two long floats) making it very stable in the water.

Wheelchair accessible parking is available along Gympie Terrace and there is a wheelchair accessible public toilet right outside the O-Boat jetty. There is no toilet or other facilities on the boat.
Rates
Boat hire is charged on a pro-rata basis according to the number of passengers and time out on the water. Fishing bait is also available. No boat license is required.
