Tewantin is the heritage centre of Noosa Shire, with early settlers coming to the region in the 1870's. A popular fishing spot, Tewantin has a relaxed and friendly lifestyle. This area of Noosa recently had a major upgrade to pedestrian precincts and is now very accessible, including wide level pathways, tactile pavers for people with vision impairments and designated disability parking areas in key locations.
Tewantin also boasts the popular Noosa Harbour Marine Village. Many of the the Harbourside restaurants are wheelchair accessible and a great spot to relax and unwind.
Trio's on the River
Enjoy stunning views along the Noosa River from every table. Trio's is famous for its seafood platters and fresh local reef fish, as well as other specialities. Functions and weddings are their specialty.
